The annual Cultural Arts Booking Fair will be this Saturday, August 18th at Wakefield High School in Raleigh from 8:30 am ? 4:00 pm. The fair is presented by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and will feature professional artists from across the country who showcase samples of their youth programming.
This event gives teachers, parents, civic leaders and arts organizations the opportunity to experience the many different artists and performances available for hire throughout the year. Most attendees are able to fund the artists they book through the ?Artists in the Schools? grants from United Arts.
?United Arts is very proud of this event each year because it not only helps to enhance the lives of children through the arts, but it is also an amazing resource for artists and those in need of an artist,? said Eleanor H. Oakley, President and CEO of United Arts.
