Cricket is the national sport of Canada?

When you think of the leaders in international cricket, the Canadians not just in the eye, as well as England and Canada this weekend in World Cup Cricket-face, it is interesting to ask whether cricket is the national sport of Canada?

It is so true?
Uh, no it is not.

Canada has two national sports, defined by the Act of 1990.
This is the winter ice hockey and lacrosse for the summer.

Cricket can be used tohuge in Canada, as an ex-British colony.
In fact, kept the game between the U.S. and Canada in September 1844, is not only the oldest celebrity in international cricket, is the oldest instrument in any sport internationally known * *!

I did some research and it turns out that the game was between a team from New York and Toronto a team, but players from both teams tried their countries, so in fact they were representative teams, and has long held that they as counted against the United States Canada Match!

I like this kind of history in the sport ? is one of the things that the beauty of it is ? a rich history that is always added, only getting richer over time!

Cricket, not least as a popular sport in Italy, the United States or for that matter, in contrast to other former British colonies like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, etc.

Maybe it's the cold, perhaps it is the intrusion of other sports from the United States, but the> Cricket World Cup in 2007 saw Canada as simply as to the numbers.

Having said that about cricket, which is not the case with the curling!
Canada has a large percentage of all curlers in the world.
As a newcomer in this sport, I'm just the sport's World Champs again this week, where Canadians are * always * do well.

So how do you like cricket, curling, or any other sport, you can nowShow your knowledge of international sport's oldest!
